“I have a special affinity for butterflies as they were my sister’s favorite things, I wanted to paint them in her honor, as we lost her last year very unexpectedly.  I also love the project for what it does for charities, my grandson has cystic fibrosis, so I know how much these donations can mean.  I feel privileged to have been able to paint them for the project, it was a healing process for me. I have a photo taken by Kurt Fishback, a renowned photographer for his upcoming women’s artists project, I would be honored if you could use it.”
